We are seeking views on our proposals to invest in facilities for people walking, cycling, wheeling (use of a wheelchair, mobility scooter or pushchair), and travelling by bus along the A432 (between Station Road in Yate and the Wick Wick Roundabout, via Coalpit Heath).
We sought initial views on this scheme of work in spring 2022 alongside proposals for the A4174. This round of engagement focuses on the designs for the A432 only as consultation for the A4174 proposals was completed separately at the end of 2023. Further information on the A4174 proposals can be found here: Have Your Say Today - A4174 Avon Ring Road Improvements - Commonplace
Please share your feedback on the designs for the A432 by completing this survey.
We have sought funding from the West of England Combined Authority to be invested in improved facilities for those walking, wheeling (use of a wheelchair, mobility scooter or pushchair), cycling or travelling by bus. This is part of a strategy to make it easier, safer and more pleasant to use active and sustainable travel options and therefore encourage more people to consider using their cars less (especially for short journeys).
What is proposed along the A432 between Wick Wick roundabout and Station Road in Yate?
For more details of the proposals, please review the FAQs here and take a look at the design drawings, maps and visualisations via the homepage.
The following maps show a summary of the proposals broken down into four sections. We want to know your relative support for each proposed element for each area and comment boxes are provided for you to share specific thoughts or concerns about the designs for each section of the route.
We have produced visuals and further maps to show the designs and how the scheme will work in greater detail. Please refer to these via the project website homepage to support your feedback.
